I never noticed that. But it still begs the question: Why is the end of the age associated with the destruction of the temple? Unless it is talking about the age of the Old Covenant, one would have to come up with another theory.

Mark is probably a more accurate version but may have been Romanized as to neglect any suspicion because of its Roman audience.
