Re: sentenced to death for atheism’

Hard to believe so many are fooled by Islamic ethnic cleansing and jihad. The numbers are over 50 million in the last 100 years. And you just make excuses for these factual numbers. Like these people will magically stop 1400 years of genocide and sectarian religious violence. Oh ffs get a grip on r...

Re: outhouse still doesn't understand the logical fallacy of misleading vividness

Jesus, you're being dopey, still jabbering about Islam when a tool with automatic weapons just took out 59 people injuring 270+ others at a country music festival. This is the 271st mass shooting this year. Radicalized muslims pail in comparison to such cowardly acts, fostered by automatic gun sale...

Re: sentenced to death for atheism’

This tweet from @mehdirhasan is quite to the point of media manipulate of ignorant people:

"The #lasvegas shooter lived a "quiet life" & enjoyed "country music". Can you imagine a Muslim shooter being so quickly humanized like this?" [*]

outhouse still doesn't understand the logical fallacy of misleading vividness

Nothing to do with ordinary muslims. It was an IS militant. . Shows how little you know about islam. There is a REASON this religious ideology produces the most cowardly acts of terrorism out of any religion. YOU have not discussed a single aspect. YOUI only make excuses and point the finger elsewh...

Re: Pontius Pilate

Spin can you give me anything other then what you say these words to mean? You seem like a good person and I thank you for trying to help me out but it looks to me, so far at least, that you want me to take your word as to how Josephus should be translated over the translation already in existence....

Re: Pontius Pilate

Ya I seen that but what does in all senses mean? Here is what I am struggling to understand. The translation I gave says procurator and the translation you said was a better translation also says procurator. So why do you say it means prefect from the word aparchos? This is from the link you gave a...

Also if I am reading the link correctly eparchos should be translated commander.
I think you need to look at the rest of the entry for eparchos, including "Lat. praefectus (in all senses)" and what follows!

Re: Pontius Pilate

spin do you have a link that I can look up? I was working only on recollection having seen his argument some time back, but perhaps if you googled "carrier procurator prefect".... Oops my bad. I meant a link to the works of Josephus that tells it differently then the one I quoted. Sadly, not everyt...
