Paul's use of or references to 'gospel'
Paul apparently used the term “gospel” ~60 times. He is said to use the possessive, “my/our gospel,” six times (one of which is in the pastoral 2 Tim. 2:8). He uses the definitive, “the gospel”, ~27 times. In addition, he uses terms such as “ the gospel of Christ ” (eg. Rom. 15:19) and “ gospel of G...

Re: Josephus again
The story of Jesus started in Ant. What part/s of 'Ant.' Why do you think the story of Jesus started there? Is Jesus a historical person? It is a question to Josephus. Probably He is historical. Why is it a question " to Josephus" ? What's the answer? What would Josephus's answer be (if y...

Re: Book 6.5.3 of Wars of the Jews.
I am not saying that Josephus is a witness to Jesus, but that he is recounting oral traditions that may have influenced early Christianity. I presume you mean: "[Therein] Josephus is recounting events that may have influenced early Christian thinking and narrative development" (I'm not su...

Re: Josephus again
The story of Jesus started in Ant. And was developed by ghostwriters in letters, in gospels. With invented tradition to cover the past. The main Jesus in the works of Josephus is Jesus ben Saphat/Sapphas/Sapphias. See Frans Vermeiren's 2017 book, A Chronological Revision of the Origins of Christian...

Re: Is *Ev more paulinist than Mark?
- What dumb jerk thinks Mark is not 'Paulinist'?
- The most pertinent question might be: what text, besides Acts of the Apostles, might be as Paulinist as Mark?

Re: Is *Ev more paulinist than Mark?
You question, "Is *Ev more Paulinist than Mark?," bears no relationship to the title of the article, viz., "Is the Gospel of Mark Distinctly Pauline?", or to the abstract there. Why on earth ...????

Re: Every time Paul mentions Mark, he also mentions Luke
....well, Marcion's gospel is staring us right in the face whenever we look at the synoptic gospels. It's all there, and always has been, we just don't quite know exactly which bits. But if you threw a dart at either Mark, Luke, or even Matthew, chances are you'd be hitting some part of the Evangel...
