Re: A Comment on Daniel McClellan's On Going Social Media Efforts
Like we're trained to think that there was some point, some master plan behind Paul. What if he just created a platform for content Creator's. What if there was no religion?

Re: A Comment on Daniel McClellan's On Going Social Media Efforts
I am just saying what if Irenaeus's definition of Christianity is at odds with Paul's.

Re: A Comment on Daniel McClellan's On Going Social Media Efforts
Irenaeus tells us there were these make believe apostles who wanted to keep a "canon of faith" alive and Irenaeus, late in the second century was rekindling their wish. What if he's lying? What if Paul was like the owners of Youtube, Facebook and Tiktok? What if he just wanted content?

A Comment on Daniel McClellan's On Going Social Media Efforts
I really like his spotlight on crazy theories about the Bible. He's very good at what he does. He even tries to avoid humiliating the influencers which is great. But I think they are killing the spread of religion even inadvertently. Religion is supposed to be stupid. I am not sure that Christianity...

Re: Seriously Are We Supposed to Believe that Jewish Men Thought the Torah Sentenced Them to Have Sex Only With Their Wi
Explains a lot. I never got the problem with prostitution as long as you weren't doing a cosplay worship of another god. I mean sexual relations in modern society is based on dishonesty. You love someone up to the point of coition. After that love becomes something else. Jews are supposed to be hone...

Re: Marcion’s Gospel and the New Testament: Catalyst or Consequence?
Again all these debates about the Marcionite gospel are stupid. It's stupid in the way that porn is stupid and never shows women rejecting sex which is 100% of the experience of most men in reality. Making the debate about a "published" Luke and an unpublished or "secret" Marcion...

Re: Marcion’s Gospel and the New Testament: Catalyst or Consequence?
Here's the blind spot about Marcion. Ken wrote: I'm suggesting that Luke may have published a book about Jesus "Published" implies a public transmission of the gospel. I don't think THE gospel of the Marcionites was EVER published. That's what Secret Mark taught me. The Orthodox defeated t...

Re: Marcion’s Gospel and the New Testament: Catalyst or Consequence?
Another good reason for thinking the Marcionites are first. In some ways Marcion stands closer to Justin than Irenaeus, his supposed "successor." It just naivete to take everything the Church Fathers say about the situation at the end of the second century at face value.

Re: Equal Opportunity Offender: The Authenticity Side Misrepresentation
I just phoned George Dragas and left a message to see if he remembers what journal article Kallistos was speaking about in 1983 where he saw the document referenced. Dragas was in the room listening to the conversation between Kallistos and Quesnell. I am going to email him the notes from Quesnell. ...
