What eventually made Mecca holy besides the qibla after the Muslims gave up on praying facing Jerusalem? It's in part because the site in Mecca was a church before it was a mosque. These were not errors. These were done intentionally. This is known because multiple mosques face Petra. In other cases mosques ran parallel to the Petra–Mecca line.beowulf wrote:Are errors important now?
