Re: If the wages of sin is death, and Jesus died, does that make Jesus a sinner?

Further, if Jesus was a sinner as you say and I agree, can a sinner just decide to forgive himself, or is it the victim of that sin that has the ability to forgive it? Regards DL That is an interesting question, and I would answer "No", if what you do creates consequences that affect othe...

Re: If the wages of sin is death, and Jesus died, does that make Jesus a sinner?

Re: If the wages of sin is death, and Jesus died, does that make Jesus a sinner?

Jesus was a sinner, or saw himself as one. He was descended from Adam. He inherited the sin from the first man. The Gospels tell us that John the Baptist preached to the people, and they came to him to confess their sins, and to seek forgiveness through baptism (Luke 3:3). Jesus too came to John the...

Re: Did God err in making Adam ruler over Eve?

In the story, Eve ate the fruit first and then offered it to Adam. Therefore she stood in the same relationship to Adam as the serpent did to her. As such, she was not 'innocent' when she offered Adam the fruit. Once she had tasted the fruit, she had the knowledge of good and evil, so she knew that ...
