Re: Mark's Twelve Did Not Refer to the Disciples
Indications that The Twelve were Mark’s original design and The Original Disciples were not included. 1) TEXTUAL: Twelve in 3:14 is anarthrous In the first mention of the Twelve in 3:14, “καὶ ἐποίησεν δώδεκα” is anarthrous, i.e. without the definite article. This is also a unique occurrence in the ...

Re: Mark's Twelve Did Not Refer to the Disciples
So far so good, (though it could be better--you could know rather than just guess at Marvin Meyer, and name a book or article), but you have not apologized for calling me a liar.

Re: ApostLists Now! What was the Markan Apostolic Mission?
To save anyone else from looking it up in a concordance, the word "apostle" is firmly attested only once in each Gospel of Matthew and Gospel of Mark, as Mark 3:14 "whom he designated apostles" is missing in some manuscripts. The word is absent in John and is common only in Luke,...

Re: Best Bible Version for Scholars for Synoptic Problem?
More Biblehub "news". Berean is back up in the Parallel versions, both the Berean Study and the Berean Literal. But now the apparatus to move from verse-to-verse seems gone. I can move to the next chapter, the next book, the next version, but the next verse (beyond say fifteen displayed) i...

Re: Mark's Twelve Did Not Refer to the Disciples
If you didn't use a Mythicist source why are you ashamed to give us even just one non-mythicist source demonstrating your knowledge that "The Twelve" is mythological? (I'm not denying there is one, just don't believe you know one, giving you some justification for making your claim.) And a...

Re: Best Bible Version for Scholars for Synoptic Problem?
Biblehub may read me, but ChristianBooks apparently does not. It still offers just the Berean Study Bible and not the Berean Literal. My guess is that the Berean Literal is in process and over-ruling the earlier Berean Study Bible where they conflict. Biblehub opted out of carrying both (or either) ...

Re: Mark's Twelve Did Not Refer to the Disciples
Yeah, sorry for over-generalizing like you.
Still waiting for even ONE item of documentation from you. I know there is at least ONE out there, I've read it, but you probably have not and are relying on unreliable mythicists.

If I haven't, others have. It's everybody's standard complaint with you.

Re: Best Bible Version for Scholars for Synoptic Problem?
Gee,
Does someone at Biblehub read my posts?
My skepticism about the two Berean translations has been noted and now neither is featured among the parallel versions? Someone who knows something about how the American Bible Society works can explain what might be going on?

Re: Mark's Twelve Did Not Refer to the Disciples
outhouse cites no authority . Educated people all know I'm correct Adam. I'm quoting quite a few famous scholars, it Is sad you cannot name them and call this your hobby. If it were anyone but YOU saying it, I would have to research where I'm wrong. But we all know that you often claim "facts&...
