Re: The crucifixion in Heaven
That's cool. With the scorpion underneath his feet. The Pegasus above, like an angel. The eagle(john) nearby and Hercules, too, who also had to "bear a cross" of sorts to make atonement for His sins, which we would all have to do like too, if we didn't have Jesus's blood to do for us. Ind...

Re: A gnostic sermon attempt
He taught of our single eye. Third eye to the more eastern religions that trained Jesus. If he ever actually lived that is. Here are some examples which are a part of a O.P. showing why I call my god I am. It is not that far from what you think. Modern Gnostic Christians name our god "I am&quo...

Re: A gnostic sermon attempt
The arch-archon who traps Sophia and bullies her is named in one of the most important books to ACTUAL GNOSTICS, and his name is Self-Will. I neither agreed or disagreed with this statement, because it's not really arguable because the story of Sophia is a story...written by Gnostics many moons ago....

Re: Messiah ben Joseph & Galilee; Messiah ben David & Judea.
Ben, buddy, if you haven't already, when are you going to write a book? While flattering, the thought is also exhausting. :) I think you answered your first question with the latter question. If you view Christianity as being a faction of the Fourth Philosophy (as I do), then the reason for its res...

Re: Chinese Philosophy
I've thought about doing a comparison between Lao Tse's teachings and Jesus's. I kinda think, as others have said, that He travelled to the East to learn from Chinese Indian n other eastern sages. That or theres something to the concept of the collective unconscious. His teachings seem to me to be a...

Re: The Books of Enoch
Have you read the Book of Giants? I still have yet to go through the books of Enoch but have been highly intrigued. I'm quite partial to Enoch. Think there is quite a mystery in that prophet. He seems to me to be a kinda Semitic shaman of sorts.

Re: What is a "good Christian"?
I feel bad for Jesus and everyone else who believed in the OT and its messianism and End Time ideas, since it ultimately led to the destruction of Fourth Philosophers -including Jesus- and the Kitos revolters and the followers of Bar Kochba and of Jerusalem (twice) by the Romans. And while I can ap...

Re: What is a "good Christian"?
And there are things Jesus says in Mark and Matthew that I agree with and things I do not. I like that he rejected the oral Torah and championed the poor, but I don't like his suffering-and-dying-first-and-conquering-later philosophy, and the same goes for other Fourth Philosophers Josephus says di...
