IIRC, Timothy Leary, before he died, had been given a tribute concert by the band that wrote the song "Timothy Leary's Dead." They changed the words to acknowledge he was still alive, but Leary commented in an interview that featured the tribute performance, that since everyone will experience death, he was "looking forward to the experience."
