Does America Get the Bible Right?

What do they believe? What do you think? Talk about religion as it exists today.

The Pauline understanding of 'this world' or 'this age' would be part of the underlying anti-greed/anti-lust platform.

Yep Greed is Good and Holy. Moses set up his family for life by convincing the rest of the tribes he, his family and who he chose to lead had God's ear. No where did any Isralite/Jew leader of the Tanach share his wealth/power equally with the other tribes.

Plus the advertising campaign of the Jew leaders have proved the pen is mightier then the sword. They convinced the Greco/Roman world they had exclusive power with a God. They only needed it when they were dispersed and convinced the modern world to give them land that they slaughtered people to get in the first place.

Anyone would have to ask why would an All Mighty God need an Army to kick people (his own creation and likeness) off a pice of desert that he supposedly owned? Why not reveal himself to the inhabitants (his own likeness) and eplain that his favorite bunch of nomads were getting the land?

People have to "believe" in the Gods to trigger their power.

Religion sanctifies cruelty by making Hashem the doer.
Is child sacrifice a bad thing? No it is what holy men should do when commanded by Hashem. And so on and on .
A Jew’s morals are dictated by G-d himself. In contrast to an atheist, a religious monotheist’s standards are set by what they feel is His word ...
Critics of the Torah dislike the fact that HaShem has commanded His people to wipe out the seven nations of Canaan[1] and Amalek[2]. ...
One’s own logical conclusion that killing is wrong–no matter what the basis is –can and is always superseded by a direct commandment from G-d. He who gives life has the right to take it away, and He who gives the world the commandment not to murder has the right to make exceptions and Himself order a murder

This malignant attitude that infected the Greek world is the explanation for the nightmare which gripped Europe during the Holy Roman Inquisition. This attitude also infected the Arabian Peninsula with longer lasting result.
Today the Palestinian men, women and children were robbed by the same violent people taking possession of the Promised Land.
Holy Holy Holy you shall remain.

The Prophet (profit) always tells the people he/she has God's ear. And if you dont follow, you get death, kicked out, shunned by orders from the Prophet. Happened to King Saul. The nations of Cannon were still relatives of the invading Israelites.

They seem to hate everyone back then and today. Their God hates them also. Hate runs in Near and Middle Eastern DNA of all the inhabitants.

:notworthy:

Many years BCE Greece developed a civilization that created architecture, theatre, mathematics, art, commerce, philosophy, democratic politics, Greece also defeated the invasion by the mighty Persian Empire and finally Alexander conquered Persia and treated the captive population as equals. Greece did all this while being polytheistic. That is godless evil or whatever!!

While Greece was doing all this, the true god of monotheistic Israel produced nothing comparable. They only produced an account of genocide during the conquest of the small plot of land, that HaShem had allocated to them in return for absolute obedience, and of the systematic repression of the uncircumcised and idolaters.

It is a pity that Europe was infected with a variant of this virus (Islam has remained so much closer to the original, regrettably!). The Torah is an instrument of intolerance and importing this tribal cult into Europe lead to the horrific and repugnant dark ages of Medieval Europe.

The Renaissance returned to Europe some of the values of ancient Greece, thus liberating people’s minds from the tyranny of one-god heaven and the sinister obsession with detection of the baptised and not baptised, - the circumcised and the uncircumcised of old.
