yes, chosen to die alright, by people, by the Sanhedrin, it is clearly recorded ok. God did not need a sacrifice, and He did not want the scapegoat killed, and He hasn't changed, but we are i guess. real slow lol.

You began looking to late in your bible as it shows that Jesus was chosen way before the earth was even created.

1Peter 1:20 0 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.

If god did not want a scapegoat used, he should not have created one.

"🔼Back to Business as Usual
If the girl of our story is the combined cultural psyche of Rome, or "Roma", then the transition from Republic to Empire marks Roma's transition from childhood to maturity. The story of the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth tells of ovulation. The outpour of the Holy Spirit, as told in Acts 2, tells of conception. The birth of the Child occurred in the age of Diocletian, but because the culture at large didn't realize that a birth had occurred, it's not culturally remembered as such. The history of Christianity tells of the further adventures of Roma, and leaves most of the story of the Child out. But it's certain that some of our ancestors had a much deeper understanding of statecraft and human physiology and psychology than any of us today, because they sprinkled the whole of Christendom with images of the Madonna and Child. Those are not religious images..."
