Not sure this is where this should be posted. I am new to this forum and would appreciate a little help. Who holds the copyright to the writings of Tacitus, or are they open domain? Thanks so much and thanks for allowing me to post.

It's pretty much everywhere on the web. The older transcriptions of critical Latin texts and various translations (published before 1926 in the USA) are out of copyright, so just search the internet. Try
www.perseus.org.
