That's by Stanley K. Stowers of Brown University, a chapter titled "Jesus the Teacher and Stoic Ethics in the Gospel of Matthew" in Stoicism in Early Christianity, ed by Rasimus, Engberg-Pedersen and Dunderberg (2010).The Gospels are in the process of inventing the "Christian" idea that the Jews were looking for "the messiah."
