In case this hasn't been noted here (a search didn't turn it up), Journal of The Jesus Movement in Its Jewish Setting from the First to the Seventh Century, online
at
http://www.jjmjs.org/
has two freely-available issues and invites article-related comments in their forum.

Thanks for this.

The article about the inscription at Pompeii was interesting to me.

Likewise. I mentioned that inscription on the old FRDB, and S. C. Carlson immediately called its authenticity into question. I had nothing firm to go on at that time, so I withdrew my contention and eventually came to suspect that we can never truly know what it said, it having faded from existence and all, but it is interesting to see that there are people out there more optimistic than I.
