Sepphoris and Jerusalem may be seen to symbolize a cultural divide between those that sought to avoid any contact with the surrounding Roman culture and those who within limits, were prepared to adopt aspects of that culture

Other meanings

Galileans (or Galilæans) were also the members of a fanatical sect (Zealots), followers of Judas of Galilee, who fiercely resented the taxation of the Romans

Why if it was a "Galilee revolt" did the war drag on for years after the capture of Galilee? Why were the inhabitants of Jerusalem slaughtered and thrown into chains? Why a Jewish tax? It was called the War of the Jews for a reason.
