She just meant that, generically speaking, Jesus had "white" skin, i.e. he wasn't black. She didn't mean Jesus was an Aryan, though, of course, such a view would not have been controversial prior to the 1960s or 70s.

What I did find interesting was that she had to stop and make a point that Jesus was a historical figure. She wouldn't have had to make that point if mythicism wasn't making inroads into popular culture.
