Brodie on proto-Luke

Post by Giuseppe »

PREMISE: I am only a dilectant.

I find modestly myself rather able to realize/to imagine
1) a scenario where the pauline "Mark" (or proto-Mark" or proto-proto-Mark and so on) was the first to euhemerize Jesus.
2) a scenario where Marcion was the first euhemerizer of Jesus.

I find myself rather able to despise who argues the Matthean priority, who argues the existence of Q, who argues the priority of John.

But what I would like to can AT LEAST imagine (and I am not able to do, apparently) is a scenario where a guy (or a "school") wrote "proto-Luke" (as reconstructed by Brodie) as the earliest Gospel.

Which is the reason behind the invention of an earthly Jesus based on the "life" of Elijah/Elisha?
