ARGUMENT FROM THE SUSPENSION OF THE LAWS OF LOGICAL IMPLICATION AND NON-CONTRADICTION

1. It is impossible to prove by logic that Jesus existed.

3. God can do anything.
4. God from time-to-time can abolish the Laws of Logical Implication and Non-Contradiction at his whim, but also re-instate them at his whim.
5. The belief that Jesus existed fits into the gap in one of these periods of abolition and reinstatement.
6. Logical propositions are irrelevant to the question of Jesus' existence.
7. Therefore Jesus existed.

(Nos. 2-4 of these assertions are the gist of an argument by an evangelical I read online yesterday. If pressed I think he might have claimed 5 was true too. He did of course take advantage of the fact that the laws of logic are not *at the moment* suspended to make this argument.).

(2) The story cannot possibly be invented because women's testimony was not allowed in court
(3) I have no idea why I brought up courts
