For example, I see Hurtado who insists that, even if the Gospels used a lot of Pagan tropoi (per Litwa and Richard Miller's studies), the essential for him (as historical and as believer, I think) is that the essence of the earliest Christian spirituality is Jewish and this "someway" confirms that Jesus is historical.

I confess my embarrassment about this conclusion. Is Carrier right when he wants to prove that, even if interpreted as 100% Jewish, Jesus may be mythical in a plausible way, or the Reductio ad Judaeum (to see the Origins as only Jewish) is basically an implicit apologetical tactic so accepted that Carrier himself has to use it?

The character Jesus is Jewish in Luke's . Nothing can change this. Not believing would not change that.

But if proto-Luke is marcionite, then even you should see the Lukan Jesus (so lacking of passions) as a gentile Jesus. At any case, I am talking about the spirituality of Peter (if we agree that Peter was the real founder of the cult). That the Gospels are full of gentile tropoi doesn't matter here.

" Lacking of passions " ??
If I could understand this pretentious nothing, I would try to find a considered reply.
