Does 'Nun' mean 'water-Serpent' ?

Post by Giuseppe »

Is it true that in Aramaic...
...the words Nun (Fish or water-Serpent), Nahash, and Nashon (both meaning land-Serpent) refer in a number of passages to the Fish-Serpent of the water which was originally Jesus and the land-Serpent to which he was later assimilated.
(Dujardin, Ancient History, p. 84)

???

If your answer is yes, then the case of Dujardin for a pre-israelite Joshua cult has some probability of being very strong.
