Contributions and controveries from the Slavic tradition regarding early Christianity

Post by rakovsky »

* Tischendorff's Leningrad Codex

* Slavonic Josephus
* Slavonic Ascension of Isaiah
* Other unique Slavonic versions of 1st to 2nd c. Christian texts?

* Early Christian archeology in Serbia, Bulgaria, and the former USSR

* Pre-Nikon Russian traditions as preserving early Byzantine rituals

* Dostoyevsky's Brothers Karamazov - The Grand Inquisitor, and also Chapter 7 with Alyosha's dream of the Wedding at Canan.
* Bulgakov's Master and Margarita
* Other depictions of Christ in Russian filmography?
