Photius compares Justus to Josephus because also Josephus didn't mention Jesus

Discussion about the New Testament, apocrypha, gnostics, church fathers, Christian origins, historical Jesus or otherwise, etc.

I find surprising the mention of Josephus immediately after the mention of Justus. The surprise is provoked by the fact that Josephus was surely not the only writer talking about the 1 Century Judaea. So Photius is probably "covering" something of embarrassing about Josephus and Jesus. Something that concerns the same embarrassing Jewish "common silence" about Jesus.
