Did Nomen Sacrum Come From Numeral Writing?

I know it sounds strange but there are all these fanciful explanations of the origin of the nomen sacrum. I wonder if the line on top of the letters might be developed from numeral writing - https://books.google.com/books?id=B8zQD ... EK&f=false
