Is the same angel?

Post by Giuseppe »

Matthew 28:2-7

There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you

2 Corinthians 11:14 :

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light

11:13
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ.

11:14
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

Contact context,I think it's a parable,

Matthew 28:2-7 and This is part of Jesus' resurrection

And this?

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!

''We' here is ''Paul'' himself, and strangely someone has avanced the idea that the Young Man in the Empty Tomb in Mark is just... ...Paul.

So Paul is saying that even if he (allegorized as the Young Man from the Empty Tomb) or ''an angel from heaven'' (allegorized as ''angel of the Lord'' in Matthew) had to preach a different (written) Gospel, then he will be cursed etc.
