Mark doesn't mention the sign of Jonah but Matthew does:
Matthew 12:38-39
38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees told Jesus, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”
39 But he replied to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign. Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah
Greek
σημεῖον sounds similar to jewish Shimon of Jonas = Simon bar Jonas = Simon Bariona , alias:
Simon the Zealot, Simon the Sicarius, and Simon Sicarius
So the sign is the War. This betrayes typical marcionite irony:
the Jews reject the Good God therefore they deserve the War.

I have a new interpretation:
the "only sign given to this generation" is not a miracle, because Jesus did a lot of miracles.
It is the baptism. Since Jonas was immersed in the waters and then he resurrected.
Osiris was immersed in the waters of Nilo for 3 days and 3 nights before his resurrection: that was his "sign".
Hence the baptism originally was connected with the Death and the idea of resurrection.
No wonder that I think that the original baptism was given to Jesus in
Sheol.

Tertullian (Apologeticum 42) received the baptism only after his death.
Originallly, the baptism was given to the corpses of Christians. Not to Christians in life.
This is 100% expected if Jesus was baptized when he was in Sheol, too.
