Celestial crucifixion in Colossians 1:19-20

Post by Giuseppe »

Colossians 1:19-20:
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross

The earth and the heavens work here as two irreducible extremities that are in opposition between them until the crucifixion of Christ. The sense is that the crucifixion of Christ can unite these two extremities by working as a kind of bridge in the middle. This is strongly expected if the crucifixion happened precisely between earth and heaven. In the air.

It is equivalent to say that Trump has pacified North and South Korea between them "through himself". The presence of Trump in the Military Demarcation Line is strongly expected for him doing so.

As opposed to him being only in Seul, for example.
