I am not surprised also by your answer, because I am going to confute the your point that Paul didn't show a visual image of the crucifixion in Gal 3:1. According to the euhemerized myth, Attis was high priest just in Pessinus of Galatia, hence it is logical to expect that the people in Galatia adored just Attis among all the gods before Paul came there.

Pessinos or Pessinus, the capital of the Tolistobogii tribe and later the capital of the Roman province of Galatia.
