Is the angel Jesus the same archangel Michael?

The great and venerable angel whom you saw was Michael

Could Elkasai refer to the same angel, when he described Jesus as a colossal angel?

Pseudo-Cyprian’s De Centisima, sexagisima, tricesima:

“When the Lord created the angels” (LXX for “Sons of God”) “he determined to make one of them [one of seven angels] his Son. It is he whom Isaiah declares to be Yahweh Sabaoth.

This remembers Ascension of Isaiah's episode about how an angel became that angel. But pseudo-Cyprian is adding another information: the angels being potential candidates to become that angel (Jesus), were SEVEN.

Now, Michael is notoriously the first of the SEVEN angels of YHWH.

Judah 9:
But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

Revelation 12:7-10:
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

It seems that the "his Christ" is just Michael.

The phrase you highlighted and colorized seems to me to be a Christian interpolation. But I lean toward the earliest layer of Revelation potentially being pre-Christianity.

Ok, but the emphasis in this thread is on what pseudo-Cyprian says.
