Was he accused to be a magician, then confused with a carpenter?

This would explain why "they took offence at him" despite of the miracolous teaching done by Jesus.

I think you mean חרש (magician) vs carpenter נגר. I have no idea what you are talking about. Why is the shin hyphenated at the end? I don't think you have any idea what you are talking about. A shin doesn't look at all like a tav.

And is Hethresh-shin = carpenter, craftsman ?
