I'm sure there is a lot in there you may find interesting. For instance, Albert Einstein wrote the foreword to a mythicist book by Homer W. Smith. Honestly, the most interesting bit for me in researching for this book was seeing the development (and then collapse) of mythicism in the USSR (via Arthur Drews' work).

I find a lot of interesting references to obscure mythicists I didn't know before.

Possibly the only fault of the book is the absence of any mention of the French mythicist Jean Magne (according to which Jesus is the Serpent historicized).

Could you provide me a reference to Jean Magne's work? I will definitely discuss it if you can send me anything.

In addition, I see that in your book another great French mythicist, Robert Stahl, is missing, also. He is author of The Document 70, unfortunately not more in circulation, where he argues fully for priority of proto-John.

Stahl is famous also for this important article about Barabbas, found by me (and by Jean Magne, too) highly persuasive, a real milestone in the interpretation of the Barabbas episode:

I think that, by adding references to them in your book, it becomes really the best book about the past mythicists.

So I can't figure out if Stahl was a mythicist or not. Rene Salm says that he wasn't. Stahl seems to think that Jesus was a composite of historical figures.

René Salm has read only few photocopies of his book, for his same admission, but I have his entire book on the Mandeans, and he says expressly how Jesus was invented when he talks about the Christian origins. So he is a mythicist.

Stahl has translated in French the Drews's Christ Myth.
