Why the Latin centurio and not the apt Greek term ?
Because the equivalent Hebrew term is spoken andriōn.
Aramaic kintriōn means "the Ruler".
So, if he is a positive character, then he is Hadrian, the first Emperor supportive of marcionite Christianity.
While, if he is a negative character, he is the Ruler of this world, the evil demiurge.
The centurion is Hadrian
The centurion is Hadrian
