Book recommendation on history of NT scholarship?

I'm looking for a good book that covers the history of New Testament scholarship. Something that provides an understanding of when certain positions were held by NT scholars and the church. For example, when was the view established that Matthew was the first Gospel written, and when and how was this view later overturned, etc. Something that covers the Nicene Councils all the way up to modern times, or at least the 20th century would be ideal.
