Acts 18:4 makes Paul the first apostle of Jesus

Codex Bezae

On entering into the synagogue every Sabbath-day he [Paul] conversed, inserting the name of the Lord Jesus, and persuaded not only the Jews, but Greeks.

Given the fact that the precise agenda of Acts is to make Peter the first apostle, contra Paul, this emphasis on Paul as FIRST introducer of the name Jesus among the Jews is very embarrassing for who argues that the Pillars came before Paul in the role of apostles of the Christ.

Peter uses the name Jesus in his public speech in Jerusalem at 2:22. Bezae has the name abbreviated as (overline) iota-eta-nu.

The same abbreviation (except with upsilon instead of nu) appears at 18:4 (direct the viewer to image 813; a transcription is also available from the meta box on the right of the screen).

I'm unsure about what to be embarrassed  . Paul preached Jesus at Corinth before Peter preached him there. Could well be, eh?
