he [Herod] was aware that to make this place a habitation was to transgress the ancient laws of the Jews, because many sepulchres were to be taken away in order to make room for the city of Tiberias, whereas our law pronounces that such inhabitants are unclean for seven days".
(Antiquities 18:3)
Now, "Capernaum" means "Town of Mourning": an apt label for a cemetery, isn't it?
And Jesus b. Sapphat was an "archon" of Tiberias.
The incipit of Marcion has his Jesus descended on Capernaum, the first time.
Coincidence?
