John 18:1 - The brooks of Cedron
This is a very interesting verse in the New Testament, if you read in it in Greek , 'brooks of Cedron' is χειμάῤῥου τῶν Κεδρὼν, the correct translation aught to be 'Winter torrents of Kedron ' , χειμάῤῥου ( Cheimarros ) derives from χειμών ( Winter) and ῥέω (Flowing) .

'Brooks of Cedron' also appear in 2 Samuel 15:23, Septuagint reads χειμάῤῥου (Winter torrent), the Hebrew word used is נַחַל ( Nachal ) and so how does it translate into χειμάῤῥου meaning 'Winter Torrent' ? The word נַחַל ( Nachal ) is a dialectic form of νεφέλη, the word Nachal also appear in Numbers 21:14 ' Brooks of Arnon' however the Septuagint reads this ' χειμάρρους Αρνων ( Winter torrent of Arnon) .
Full Verse ( Num 21:14 KJV )
- Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon
Numbers 21:15 writes 'the streams of the winter torrents' that seep down into the rivers and well, the people gather and drink the freshwater and they sing a song, Numbers 21:14 writes about 'River Arnon' , sourced at Mount Hermon ( Deu 2:36) , thus confirmed the geological context of Winter torrents.
Num 21:14 writes 'What he did too the Red Sea' however the Septuagint makes no mention of the 'Red Sea' , there is a word in the Masoretic, which is untranslated , which is וָהֵב Vaheb , the Septuagint reads it Ζωοβ' which means it's a corruption of זָהָב meaning Gold , which is a poetic word for Snow, the Septuagint also as the word ἐφλόγισεν which means 'Branded with Fire' another word is κυρίου ( Chariot ) ( Exodus 14:6)
Numbers 21:14 ( Restored meaning)
Through this as it is said in the scrolls of War.. how the Chariot melted the snow in the Winter torrents of Arnon.
Moses was wandering in the Snow not in a Desert.
