1 Kings 19:15 - "מדברה דמשק - ἐρήμου Δαμασκοῦ "
- "Wilderness of Damascus, Desert of Damascus"

This must be referring too the east-west cross-desert route connecting Lebanon with the Euphrates river valley
rather then Damascus itself, the Syrian desert is called Badiyat al-Sham or Hamad .

ἐρήμου = ערבים = Arabia

This explains the geographical confusion between the Arabian and Syrian desert,
hence the claims that Moses and Abraham sojourned in Arabia, according too
Genesis 10:17, Sinai (סיני) is in the Levant, also called Kinai (קיני ).

1. Elijah goes too the Desert of Damascus to anoint the scapegoat
2. Paul meets Elijah in the Desert of Damascus
3. Moses meets Elijah in the Desert

Lev 16:8
And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat.

Ben Hadad - בן־הדד

He is the son of טברמן, Ταβερεμμαν (Tabrimmown) meaning 'the good pomegranates"
but in 2 Kings, he is the son of Azazel.

Zec 12:11
In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem
as the mourning of Hadad Rimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

In this verse, Hadad = κοπετὸς = ספד "caphad" - lament and mourn

2 Kings 8:7
And Elisha came to Damascus; and Ben hadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man of God is come hither.

2 Kings 8:12
And Hazael said, “Why is my lord weeping?”
Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel

2 Kings 8:9
Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?

2 Kings 8:15
And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

2 Kings 13:24 ( Contradiction??)
So Hazael king of Syria died; and Benhadad his son reigned in his stead.

So who died in 2 Kings 8:15?

2 Kimgs 13:20 ( Resurrection of Ben Hadad)
they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
