'Waters of Meribah' (Rebellious waters) is a parable for a river flowing counter to other rivers, this describes the Orontes (Arnon)
which flows through Antioch.

Joshua 13:16
Their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba

Plain by Medeba' - πᾶσαν τὴν Μισωρ :

המישר, Μισωρ 'level place, uprightness'
- Psalm 143:10 Land of Uprightness
Upright, straight, smooth, level'
- Gen 27:11 Jacob is a smooth man

The name מצרים commonly translated 'Egypt' is just מ צר ים, the root is ὀχυρός/צר meaning Firm, Stronghold, this word describes a fortified city
just as Tyre or Antioch.

2 Samuel 24:7 - מבצר־צר (Stronghold of Tyre) Μαψαρ Τύρου

There was no Egyptian or Babylonian captivity, but a localized captivity in the Levant.

2 Kings 16:9 - Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir
Amos 1:5 - The people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir,
Amos 9:7 - Syrians from Kir

Septuagint translates KIR into τεῖχος 'Wall' as in a fortified place or a περιοχῇ or ἀντιόχη.

There was an Asylum near Antioch that held people. ... hern-syria
Onias accused him publicly and then fled to the asylum of Daphne, near Antioch,
New Antioch an asylum for fugitive Roman slaves; any individual taking refuge in the town and acknowledged as a relative by one of its inhabitants was assured of immunity
The entire Old Testament is all Hellenistic.

Biblical scholars who seem to be Anti-Syrian and Anti-Lebanon have moved the 'North' too the 'South' and put everything in the 'Israeli Geography'
essentially, stealing history.

-Where is Hamath-
Numbers 13:21- They went up, searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.
Judges 3:3 - In mount Lebanon, from mount Baal hermon unto the entering in of Hamath.
Joshua 13:5 - Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baalgad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.
Ezekiel 47:17- the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side

-Where is Succoth-
Genesis 33:17 And Jacob journeyed to Succoth (Lebanon)
Exodus 13:20 they took their journey from Succoth

-Where is Meribah-Kadesh-
Deuteronomy 32:51 - the waters of Meribah-Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin
Ezekiel 47:19 - Waters of Meribah-Kadesh (near Damascus)

Biblical Anti-scholars, they just put all the Bible locations in the middle of a desert that lacked significant ancient settlements,

-Winter wonderland of Bible-
John 18:1 - Winter torrent of Cedron (χειμάῤῥου τῶν Κεδρὼν)
2 Samuel 15:23 - Winter torrent of Kidron
Numbers 21:14 - Winter torrent of Arnon
Numbers 34:5 - Winter torrent of Egypt
Exodus 9:19 - Hail in all the land of Egypt

Perhaps the Old Testament took place in the Ice Age, hence explains all the winter language, such as Glaciers on Mount Sinai in Arabia, put the last Ice Age was 11,700 years ago and Bible scholars believe the Earth is 6000 years old, thus the Ice Age never existed, what is the explanation for snow storms in the Arabian desert and Egypt.

Judges 5:5 - The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
Psalm 97:5 - The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD
Isa 55:10 - For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth

Is there a Ski Resort in the Levant?

These are the impossible questions no one answers.
