‎פְּנֵ֣י

This means face, it might mean wrath somewhere but not so much in those verses given.
She answered, "You are most kind to your handmaid." So the woman left, and she ate, and was no longer downcast. (1 Sam. 1:18 TNK)
‎וַתֹּ֕אמֶר תִּמְצָ֧א שִׁפְחָתְךָ֛ חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ וַתֵּ֙לֶךְ הָאִשָּׁ֤ה לְדַרְכָּהּ֙ וַתֹּאכַ֔ל וּפָנֶ֥יהָ לֹא־הָיוּ־לָ֖הּ עֽוֹד׃

And if anyone of the house of Israel or of the strangers who reside among them partakes of any blood, I will set My face against the person who partakes of the blood, and I will cut him off from among his kin. (Lev. 17:10 TNK)

The face of the LORD is set against evildoers, to erase their names from the earth. (Ps. 34:17 TNK)
‎פְּנֵ֣י יְ֭הוָה בְּעֹ֣שֵׂי רָ֑ע לְהַכְרִ֖ית מֵאֶ֣רֶץ זִכְרָֽם׃

This has to be one of the most popular words in the bible, it made the second verse of Genesis.
the earth being unformed and void, with darkness over the surface of the deep and a wind from God sweeping over the water -- (Gen. 1:2 TNK)
‎וְהָאָ֗רֶץ הָיְתָ֥ה תֹ֙הוּ֙ וָבֹ֔הוּ וְחֹ֖שֶׁךְ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י תְה֑וֹם וְר֣וּחַ אֱלֹהִ֔ים מְרַחֶ֖פֶת עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַמָּֽיִם׃

The word as many cognates.

פנה
γωνίᾳ 'place at an angle
ἐκνεύω 'turn the head out of its natural position

The face can also represent anger, thus wrath, אף, a word relating too פנה
can also mean "wrath".

Maimonides explains in The_Guide_for_the_Perplexed
The book begins with Maimonides’ thesis against anthropomorphism. In the Bible, one can find many expressions that refer to God in human terms, for instance the “hand of God”. Maimonides was strongly against what he believed to be a heresy present in unlearned Jews who then assume God to be corporeal (or even possessing positive characteristics).

To explain his belief that this is not the case, Maimonides devoted more than 20 chapters in the beginning (and middle) of the first book to analysing Hebrew terms. Each chapter was about a term used to refer to God (such as “mighty”) and, in each case, Maimonides presented a case that the word is a homonym, whereby its usage when referring to a physical entity is completely different from when referring to God.
There is no argument that the consequences of YHWH having his face against someone are unpleasant.

One of the first names in the Lliad is Ἀχιλλεύς (Achilles) and resembles an Hebrew construct, here are names
in the Hebrew scripture alongside the Septuagint reading.

Ahitub - אחיטוב, Αχιτωβ
Ahihud - אחיהוד , Αχιωρ
Ahimelech - אחימלך, Αχιμελεχ
Ahiman - אחימן, Αχιμα
Ahimaaz - אחימעץ, Αχιμαας
Ahinoam - אחינעם, Αχινοομ
Ahinadab- אחינדב , Αχιναδαβ
Ahiezer - אחיעזר , Αχιεζερ

As an Hebrew construct, Achilles' means 'Brother of the people" (אחי לאם).

They are two confusing interchanging names in Greek mythology, "Xanthos & Scamander" and parallels with "Sodom & Gomorrah".

The initial letter in Sodom is a Samekh, same letter as the Ξ in Ξάνθών and a diphthong of "Σκ" in the name Σκάμάνδρος.
The word Skamandros makes an appearance in Song of Solomon 2:15 as סמדר.

ס־מד־ר ξ-νθ-ρΣκά-μάνδ-ρος
ע־מ־רהξ-νθ-ρΣκά-μάνδ-ρος
ס־ד־םξ-νθ-νΞάνθών

Songs 2:15 reads סמדר as κυπρίζω, a word that contains ῥίζα/שרש 'Root', so the name Scamander is a compound of Ξάνθ ῥίζα "Yellow root"
צהב־שרש, Κυπ־ρίζω, Σκάμδ-ρίζω, Ξάνθ ῥίζα.

cf. שרש־אכרים → μανδρ־αγόραι "Wild Root"

Rhadamanthus
Europe (Phoenician princess) is the mother of Rhadamanthus, Sarpedon and Minos.

The name Rhadamanthus means "the rod hath blossomed" that appears in Ezekiel 7:10 as צץ המטה
that the Septuagint reads as ῥάβδος ἤνθηκεν → Ῥαδάμανθυς

ה מטה = ἧ φυτά "bring forth, spring from parents, plantation"
צץ = ἀνθέω, נצה "Bloom, blossom"
שרביט = ῥάβδος
שרביטים = Σαρπηδών "Sarpedon" (brother of Rhadamanthus)

-dialectic-
Εὕρημα → אברם "Abram"
Εὕρεμα → אברהם "Abraham"
Κυρία → שרי "Sarai"
Κύρα → שרה "Sarah"

The New Testament often presents two sets of names, Thaddaeus and Lebbaeus and the authors of Genesis did the same
with Jacob & Israel, even with the name of God, "Zeus & Yahweh".

The major clue with the naming of Jacob is that the poetry puts emphasis on his Heel, known in Greek as ἀκρόπους (Ἀκή πούς)
Ἀκρας → Ἄκραλ → Ἄτραλ → Ισραλ → ישראל
Ἀκή πούς → יעקב "Jacob"

This a cognate of κακκάβη "three legged pot" and this roots כוכבא‬ (Kokhba) the synonym of τρίπους (תרפים) that belonged to Jacob in Genesis 31:19, as a double entendre, when Jacob took hold of Esau's heel it produces and the image of a 'Three-legged pot' or Rebecca (τρίπους).

The Greek version of Jacob is Atreus (Ἀκρόπους → Ἀτρεϝύς → Ἀτρεύς).

Jacob = Atreus
Atreus had a twin bother called Thyestes and they quarreled over birthrights, in both stories Atreus and Jacob tricked his twin-brother
and they succeeded.

1 Maccabees 12:20
Arius, king of the Spartans, to Onias the high priest, greeting, It has been found in writing concerning the Spartans and the Jews that they are brethren.

ישראל בן → Ἀτρείδης "House of Atreus"

חצים = οἰστόν "Arrow" (Lliad 4.85)

חלב = γλάγος = Lac (Lliad 2.459)
