It is a fact that the following equation is true:
to be a secret disciple of Jesus == to have ongoing covert dealings with Jesus

[/quote]That Jesus was the identity of the one who lived of Josephus’s three, is a backward inference from the same story appearing (albeit in garbled form) in the Gospels featuring Jesus as that person. From Josephus’s Life, it is clear that Josephus had ongoing covert dealings with warrior commander Jesus in Galilee, though Josephus tells of those dealings in a self-serving way.

the Josephus you are talking about is the pro-Roman Flavius Josephus, not the Zealot Yosef ben Matityahu. The latter was in secret league with Jesus son of Saphat just as the former was his enemy and public defamer.
there is really evidence that Jesus ben Saphat joined John of Gischala by time the siege of Jerusalem started.
Aren't they supposed to be one and the same person?
if you think that they are two distinct people, then accordingly you have to assume the presence of two people in Mark named both Joseph of Arimathea:

- one was "a prominent member of the Council" (== the Pharisee pro-Roman Flavius Josephus)
Which of the two was a secret disciple of Jesus (==in secret league with Jesus son of Saphat) ?
- the other "was waiting for the kingdom of God" (== the Zealot Yōsef ben Matiṯyāhu).
I plead Typo !
Again, what you say is chronologically bizarre. Josephus, in his autobiography, was born c 39 CE but Joseph of Arimathea was a character in gMark who supposedly witness the crucifixion of Jesus and asked for his dead body between c 27-37 CE when Pilate was Governor.
