Solomon's Gold

Post by Ethan » Tue May 15, 2018 1:48 pm

The Gold of Solomon came from OPHIR .

1 Kings 10:11
The navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir.

Genesis 10:52
- Eber were born two sons ( Western Iberia & Eastern Iberia)

Joktan ( Eastern Iberia - Scythian) ( District XIX)
1-Almodad
2-Sheleph
3-Hazarmaveth
4-Hadoram
5-Uzal
6-Diklah
7-Obal
8-Abimael
9-Sheba
9-Ophir
11-Havilah
12-Obab

This particular district is divided into 12 , so that each of the twelve divisions provided tribute for one month of the year
as explained in 1 Kings 4:7 - "twelve officers provided victuals for the king each man his month in a year made provision".
Thus the reason why Israel was divided into twelve. ( District V).

The Gold of 'Ophir' was given a unique name in the scriptures, פָּז ( PAZ ) "fine-gold"

Genesis 2:11
Pison: that compasseth the Land of Havilah, where there is gold

River Phasis ( Gold-River) - Φασιανοί , Φασις
- The Land of the Golden Fleece
- Here Phasis, the mighty common boundary of the land of Europe and Asia (Aeschylus, Fragment 107)

River Guenos ( River Gihon)
Image
The rivers impregnated with particles of gold were carefully strained through sheeps-skins, or fleeces; but these are not the materials that would be used for such a purpose: it is more probable that, if fleeces were used, they were set across some of the narrow parts of the streams, in order to stop and collect the particles of gold. - Pliny the Elder
600 BCE - Colchis Founded by Greeks or Phoenicians
580 BCE - King Saul - King Saulius
515-532 BCE - Hiram
520 BCE - King Darius I invade Colchis and loots the Temple of Sukhum and northern tribes submit 100 girls and 100 boys every 5 years to the Persian Court .

1Ki 9:26
king Solomon made a navy of ships in Eziongeber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red sea, in the land of Edom.
על־שפת ים־סוף בארץ אדום׃ - ἐπὶ τοῦ χείλους τῆς ἐσχάτης θαλάσσης ἐν γῇ Εδωμ

The Septuagint is not reading ' Red Sea ' but instead ἐσχάτης θαλάσσης "Uppermost Sea" but also take
in mind that ' ים (Yam) mean Western. However the Septuagint doesn't distinguish this.

Gen 12:8 - Bethel on the west and Hai on the east
Βαιθηλ κατὰ θάλασσαν καὶ Αγγαι κατ᾽ ἀνατολάς

Gen 13:14 - northward - southward - eastward - westward
βορρᾶν - λίβα - ἀνατολὰς - θάλασσαν

Exodus 26:22 - he sides of the tabernacle westward
σκηνῆς κατὰ τὸ μέρος τὸ πρὸς θάλασσαν

Daniel 8:4 - I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward
εἶδον τὸν κριὸν κερατίζοντα κατὰ θάλασσαν καὶ βορρᾶν καὶ νότον
---

2 Chronicles 8:17 ( no red sea)
Then went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.

אילות על־שפת הים
Αιλαθ τὴν παραθαλάσσιος

אילות " Island of Lot/Lon"'
אי = Island . Also written Αιλων (אילון)

The place the moon stood still in Joshua 10:12
-Valley of Ailon (φάραγγα Αιλων )

Judges 1:34 - Amorites dwell in Mount Heres in Ailon
חרס ( HRC) - ὀστρακώδει ' Ostrakodei
Ailon - ἄρκοι ( Arkoi )
ὀστρακώδης (Ostrakwdhs) "like an earthen pot"
ὄστρακον (Ostrakon) "earthen vessel"

חרס ( HRC) in Judges 8:13 translates ARES ( God of War)
In Job 9:7 for the Rising Sun ( in west)

Joshua was buried in בתמנת־סרח
- Θαμναθασαχαρα ( Thamnatha Sachara) * Jos 19:50
- Θαμναθαρες ( Thamnath Ares ) * Jdg 2:9
- Thamnath = Temenos

Temenos
a piece of land cut off and assigned as an official domain, especially to kings and chiefs, or a piece of land marked off from common uses and dedicated to a god, a sanctuary, holy grove or holy precinct

----
Groves of Ares -
Sanctuary of Ares and the Garden of Ares; a grove in the district of Kolkhis (Colchis) where the Golden Fleece was kept
According to the Greek mythology, Colchis was a fabulously wealthy land situated on the mysterious periphery of the heroic world. Here in the sacred grove of the war god Ares, King Aeëtes hung the Golden Fleece until it was seized by Jason and the Argonauts. Colchis was also the land where the mythological Prometheus was punished by being chained to a mountain while an eagle ate at his liver for revealing to humanity the secret of fire.

חרס ( HRC) also written חרש (HRS) " Craftsman " and thus Hephaestus / Vulcan would be a better fit here.
- 1 Samuel 23:16 - David went into the Horesh ( written Καινὴν )

1 Chronicles 4:14 misreads " Valley of Craftsman "
but should instead be " Islands of Horesh" , Patriarch - Ιωαβ (יואב).

Neh 11:35 - Lod & Ono : Islands of Craftsman

Genesis 4:22
Tubalcain : ובל קין TBLKIN = Vulcan
Instructer of every artificer(HRS) in brass and iron:
Nome = Eurynome
Lamech = Lymax

Hephaestus
He fell from Olympus for an entire day and landed on the island of Lemnos, where he was cared for and taught to be a master craftsman by the Sintians – an ancient tribe native to that island

Vulcano
The Ancient Greeks named the island Therassía (Θηρασία) and Thérmessa (Θέρμεσσα, source of heat). The island appeared in their myths as the private foundry of the Olympian god Hephaestus, the patron of blacksmiths. He had another two foundries at Etna and Olympus. Strabo also mentions Thermessa as sacred place of Hephaestus (ἱερὰ Ἡφαίστου), but it is not clear if it was a third name for the island, or just an adjective

Sintians ( Σίντιες) " the Raiders, the Plunderers once inhabited the area of Sintice and the island of Lemnos
1. Sintians worshiped Hephaestus
2. "Off wild speech"
3. city of Heraclea Sintica at the foot of an extinct volcano on the land of Rupite, Bulgaria

Genesis 10:7 -
Sinite - סיני : Ασενναῖον

סיני a dialectic form of קיני ( Gen 15:19)
- סינ - קין - φοίνι

φοινόν (Phoinon) "blood-red"
- αἵματι φοινόν ( Aimati Phoinon)

οινόν = Wine , Grape-Juice
- Ϝοινόν - φοινός

ὑάκινθον ( Uakinthon) " Blue"
תכלת (Takeloth) "Blue"
πορφύραν ( Phorphuran) " Purple"
ארגמן ( Argaman) "purple"
תולעת ( Tuloth ) "Scarlet"
κόκκινον ( Kokkinon) "Scarlet

Phoenicians are apparently named for it's trade of 'Purple-Dye' but they are not the only people
who made it, the Spartans obtained Red purple dye from the Murex mollusc shells in Laconia

Gytheio may have been the center of their purple dye trade because the Laconian Gulf had a plentiful source of murex.

NEDA
- A river of Peloponnesus which forms the boundary between Messenia and Elis before flowing into the Ionian Sea

Pausanias 8.41.3
A river called the Lymax flowing just beside Phigalia falls into the Neda, and the river, they say, got its name from the cleansing of Rhea. For when she had given birth to Zeus, the nymphs who cleansed her after her travail threw the refuse into this river. Now the ancients called refuse “lymata.” Homer, [Note] for example, says that the Greeks were cleansed, after the pestilence was stayed, and threw the lymata into the sea.

Neda = נדה " Afterbirth, Separation, Menstruation

Eurynome (Εὐρυνόμη)
- Deity of ancient Greek religion worshipped at a sanctuary near the confluence of rivers called the Neda and the Lymax
- Eurynome nursed the god Hephaestus on the banks of the earth-encircling river Oceanus

νόμη - נעמה NOME (Gen 4:22) -
למך - Λαμεχ = Λύμαξ = λύματα "Water used for cleansing"

This is where Solomon's gold ended up:

1 Kings 14:
25 Now it happened in the fifth year of King Rehoboam, that Shishak the king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem. 26 He took away the treasures of the house of the LORD and the treasures of the king’s house, and he took everything, even taking all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.

Pharaoh Osorkon I gifts 383 tons of Solomon's gold and silver to the God's of Egypt in 921 BC!

1. The pillar in a temple at Bubastis that says Pharaoh Osorkon I gifted the modern equivalent of 383 tons of gold and silver to all the gods of Egypt in 921 BC.

a. "Directly after Shishak’s death, and less than a decade after Solomon’s death, Osorkon proudly recorded on a granite pillar in a temple at Bubastis, in the eastern Nile Delta, his own breathtakingly munificent gifts to the gods and goddesses of Egypt. These gifts were for “[all the gods and goddesses of the cities] of Upper and Lower Egypt, from Year 1 (of Osorkon’s reign) … to Year 4 … , making 3 years, 3 months and 16 days,” that is for the period from 924 to 921 B.C. Only fragments of this long and detailed hieroglyphic text of Osorkon have been found. But these seem to record gifts totaling approximately two million deben of silver, and 2,300,000 deben of gold and silver—at least 383 tons of precious metal given by Osorkon to the gods. The crowded lines of the main text give us details of rich gifts to each god or goddess: “What His Majesty gave to the Temple of Aman-re … a standing statue offering incense, … its body of beaten gold and silver, amounting to: gold, 183 deben, silver, 19,000 deben, black copper . … ” After the gifts to Re comes: “gold, lapis … 332,000 deben, total, 594,300 deben,” and so on. Where could Osorkon have obtained such immense wealth, to spend on such a scale after only three and a third years of his reign? Barely five years earlier, Osorkon’s father Shishak had looted the wealth of Jerusalem. It seems unlikely to be a mere coincidence that almost immediately after that event Osorkon could dispose so freely of so much gold and silver. The vast amounts of Solomon’s golden wealth may have ended up, at least in part, as Osorkon’s gift to the gods and goddesses of Egypt." (Where Did Solomon’s Gold Go?, Kenneth A. Kitchen, Bible and Spade, V7, p108, 1994 AD, reprinted from Biblical Archaeology Review 15/3, May, 1989, p.30)

b. "On another fragment from the pillar in the temple at Bubastis hieroglyphs indicate numbers—part of the tally of this vast gold treasure. Each upside down “U” stands for 10; each curl above them stands for 100. The “tadpoles” or “bird-shaped” figures at the bottom of the second column and at the top of the last column on the right represent 100,000 each, and the people with upraised arms are each symbols for 1,000,000." (Where Did Solomon’s Gold Go?, Kenneth A. Kitchen, Bible and Spade, V7, p108, 1994 AD, reprinted from Biblical Archaeology Review 15/3, May, 1989, p.30)

The Bubastis Temple Granite Pillar Hieroglyphic Text of Osorkon Reads:

"What His Majesty gave to the Temple of Amen-Re...
a standing statue offering incense,...its body of beaten gold and solver, amounting to: gold, 183 deben, silver, 19,000 deben, black copper..." After the gifts to Re comes: "gold, lapis...332,000 deben, total, 594,300 deben"

There seems to be contradictions considering the whereabouts of the Gold.

1 Kings 22:48
Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber.

2Ch 20:36
He joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongeber.
And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish

1 Kings 9:26
king Solomon made a navy of ships in Eziongeber, which is beside Eloth, at the uppermost sea, in the land of Edom.
And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.
And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.

1 Kings 10:11
The navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones.

1Ki 10:22
For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold,

Jer 10:9
Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz

Eze 27:12 Καρχηδόνιοι = Carthage
Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

Where would they get TIN?

Copper, Brass or Bronze
- Aeneus, Aheneus, Aes ( Latin)
- NKS, NKUS, NHS, NKHS, NKHST ( Phoenician)

The root meaning seems to be κνηκός ( Knhkos) also written κνακός (Knakos)
meaning 'Tawny' ( the color of Brass) and related too Sanskrit Kancanam.

The Latin version of word is the same word as the Trojan Hero, Aeneus, son of Ἀγχίσης ( Anchishs) and father of Ascanius

According too Ezekiel 27:13, brass came from the Javan, Tubal, and Meshech and brought in via Phoenician
Merchants (1Ki 7:45)(1Ch 18:8)(2Ch 2:14)
