The Ancient Hebrew word for "when" is מתי.

בראשית ברא מתי אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ

I was using Tanach (JPS): Genesis: Genesis Chapter 1 from 1917. Seems like it was revised from standalone in 1917 to adverbial in 1989.
