Following Ehrman's and others consideration that Jesus was an angel-

Galatians 4: 13 You know that it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you. 14 And although my illness was a trial to you, you did not despise me or reject me. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself.
The metric to judge if one is a good exegete: the way he/she deals with Barabbas.
