Arimathea = Αρειμάνιος Theos?

If Arimathea is the "place of Ahriman", then Joseph coming from there may realize the prophecy:

His grave was among the wicked, his tomb with evildoers,

(Isaiah 53:9)

Owing to the identification of Rome's angel with Samael, chief of the evil spirits, Armilus in the course of time was identified with Romulus (see Bousset's "Antichrist," pp. 66, 67). The name given to Armainyush in other Jewish eschatologies was Belial (Beliar, II Cor. vi. 14; Sibylline Books, ii. 6, 15, iii. 63; Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs, Dan. v.), the same as "spirit of hell" (see Ps. xviii. 5 and Bäthgen's Comm.), hence the "son of perdition" (II Thess. ii. 3) and the "man of sin," that is, rasha', "the Wicked" (Isa. xi. 4). Thus the Serpent is spoken of as Harasha', "the Wicked One," in Gen. R. xx., Bek. 8a (compare Targ. Yer. Gen. iii. 13); and Rome as the wicked kingdom, Malkut ha-resha'ah (Gen. R. lxxvi.).

According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, Armilus is "a king who will arise at the end of time against the Messiah, and will be conquered by him after having brought much distress upon Israel." He is spoken of in the Midrash Vayosha, Sefer Zerubbabel and other texts. He is an adversary similar to Gog and Magog. In the Sefer Zerubbabel he takes the place of Magog and defeats the Messiah ben Joseph.[3]: 60

There is a particular similarity between how the Serpent of Genesis is introduced and how Joseph of Arimathea is introduced.

Both enter in scene after a new creation (in the case of Joseph: the signs of a such creation being occurred during the crucifixion).

Both ask the execution of an action by someone.

Both gain what they asked.

Both seem to be cursed (Joseph in virtue of the name "Arimathea" as reference to evil side of deity: see above) despite of being potentially positive figures.

Both disappear from the scene rapidly as they entered in it.

If Pilate allegorizes the demiurge, then Joseph is the Serpent who defeats the demiurge by preventing, this time, that Jesus is cursed on the tree by being still on the cross for the night.

Mark 15:42-47 :

42 It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath). So as evening approached, 43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body. 44 Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had already died. 45 When he learned from the centurion that it was so, he gave the body to Joseph. 46 So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. 47 Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph saw where he was laid

In the Gospel of Peter, Joseph asks the corpse from Pilate and Pilate asks it from Herod. Again the same pattern of Genesis, where the tempted Eve becomes in turn a tempter of Adam:

6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

As one who had the his tomb cut out of rock, Joseph of Arimathea also would be cursed by the creator:

15 This is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says:

“Go, say to this steward,
to Shebna the palace administrator:
16 What are you doing here and who gave you permission
to cut out a grave for yourself here,
hewing your grave on the height
and chiseling your resting place in the rock?

17 “Beware, the Lord is about to take firm hold of you
and hurl you away, you mighty man.
18 He will roll you up tightly like a ball
and throw you into a large country.
There you will die
and there the chariots you were so proud of
will become a disgrace to your master’s house.
19 I will depose you from your office,
and you will be ousted from your position.
