Who's who on BC&H Forum?

What do they believe? What do you think? Talk about religion as it exists today.

Rather known by 7th hand say so.

Do you have anything other than that to base your opinion on? Any facts for instance?

You appear to be a literalist. Do you believe in talking serpents and donkeys as well?

I'm an atheist. I believe donkeys are real, yes.
I am a cut above atheists, just in the sense that I was thinking that they need to create churches long before they did.
I too believe in donkeys, but not in talking ones.
They can speak to each other, but cannot talk as directly to human's.
We can surmise what animals would tell us but have to use analogies that are only a best guess.

Hmm the rest of that is not too bad a guess, for a pleb anyway. If you ever raised an animal you would know what they, that particular individual, meant tho k

So, Jesus as real as you need Him to be, until you find Nehushtan and break him up as "Priest," 2Kings18:4, and find "John Doe from out of Nowhere" (Joshua, xlated as "Jesus" to us, was the most common male name then), and i forgot the rest of your Q sorry, lemme know.

Perhaps, it would be easier to understand/relate to others on this forum if we knew their basic point of view regarding the origins of Christianity.

Please share your view regarding the historicity of Jesus and the origin of Christianity. I will summarize your answer on the list below.
However, if I get it wrong please let me know and I will correct it.
*************************************

Do you believe there was a historical Jesus and what religion/sect did Christianity derive from?

1. Jesus was real and Christianity derived from Enochic Judaism a.k.a. the Essene group....John T

2. Jesus is a myth and Christianity derived from Gnosticism....Gnostic Bishop

3. Jesus was real and Christianity derived from the Pharisees...iskander
"Christian" was not a new term then i guess, and at the time meant what we might call "Zionist" today, a literal descendant of David on a literal throne; what Christianity has more or less reverted to now. But real, 1st century Christians were regarded as Atheists Bc no idol, no icon, is the way i currently understand it.

As to Jesus "historicity" i don't much see the point wadr, as there is none, at least none that i know of? But I'm pretty sure Nazareth was not inhabited in the 1st century, although it was before and after, as if i'm not mistaken Gnostics first pointed out?
Hence "John Doe from out of Nowhere," being as how rabbis were known by their "school" location i guess?
Peace

I raised rabbits and we do not see their body language or know what they are saying when they speak to any worthy degree.
