Re: Dave Allen's three supposedly pre-Eusebian witnesses to the Testimonium Flavianum

Funnily enough, Paul's information about the historical Jesus does not go beyond the information known from Josephus. Apparently, the author of Paul and his letters did not come up with the idea to add a "backwards" narrative to Jesus (from resurrection to birth). He preferred to write the...

Re: Dave Allen's three supposedly pre-Eusebian witnesses to the Testimonium Flavianum

We have an alternative: 1. TF was written by Eusebius or someone else around the 4th century CE and inserted into Ant Josephus. Luke's signature language was used. 2. The TF is authentic and it was Luke who used the TF when creating the gospel and the Acts of the Apostles. Recently, biblical scholar...

Flavius Two-Face Josephus

Dave Allen's path to the reconstruction of TF led through Jesus the Zealot, proposed by SGF Brandon, developed by Fernando Burmejo-Rubio and commercially used by Reza Aslan. Over time, Dave focused on the literature itself by Josephus. Dave paid particular attention to the literary constructs used b...

Re: Gospel muteness as evidence of anti-marcionism

Luke sondergut was developed throughout the period of creation under the influence of others up to the canonical text. The same for Mark and Matthew. They wrote together or used Teams :)

Re: Gospel muteness as evidence of anti-marcionism

None of the synoptic gospels is a homogeneous work - they all contain content from different authors. Klinghardt argues that the homogeneous text is *Ev and that it was written by a single previously unrecognized author who wrote in a manner most reminiscent of Luke but sometimes resembles the style...

Re: Gospel muteness as evidence of anti-marcionism

the problem is the syntax of the reconstruction language. Klinghardt creates strange structures in koine to create a unique language for the new ghostwriter. This is not my conclusion, but linguists' conclusion. Ev was written by Luke and Matthew

Re: Gospel muteness as evidence of anti-marcionism

This is Vinzent's problem - he deals with side issues and avoids real problems. The only significant problem of this Vinzent-Trobisch-Klinghardt environment is to indicate and prove that *Ev, which Marcion used, is a homogeneous publication of another ghostwriter. The only major problem. Nothing is ...
