4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
everyday there would have been a death and there would've been burial too. this is common knowledge. it does not say that the tomb was discovered.

"Thew was no tomb for a historical Jesus ---> there was no empty tomb for a historical Jesus." when i read the last verse in mark 16 i always told myself that the women and the tomb are not important to the author, the author says "...he is on his way to a location 70 miles away"...

It seems to me that an investigator could go to check Paul's and the gospels' claims. He could ask the Romans if guards were at the tomb, and could go around asking about the appearance to the 500. Maybe this was not a simultaneous appearance to 500, but an appearance to 500 individually at differe...
