Re: Feasible Synoptic Solutions
It is a pleasure for me.
Why bother? It would seem that you want criticism of your work from strangers and I thought that his “weakness” should provide a knowledgeable criticism.
Just a passing thought, think nothing of it.

Re: Feasible Synoptic Solutions
Feasible Synoptic Solutions This method can presumably similarly explain Triple Tradition anomalies. I suppose the big objection is that its flexibility makes it non-falsifiable. http://earlywritings.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=222&start=40#p4345 My above comment from Dec. 23 may explain ...

The Messiah in Genesis Rabbah Genesis, I. 5-6 R. Abba of Serungayya (3) said: 'And the light dwelleth with him' (4) alludes to the royal Messiah. R. Judah b. R. Simon said: From the commencement of the world's creation ' He revealeth the deep things, etc. (5) 3 A place near Tiberias 4 With a small h...

Re: Thoughts on Maurice Casey's new book
Blogger ‘Someone’, has now become an honorific title, like: ‘Cardinal Someone’. Blog, however, reminds of bog and bug. Some graffiti show these words to be closely related as in: bugging in the bog with a blogger by my side. I much prefer the original lovely Scottish song: Roaming in the gloaming, w...

Re: Finding Jesus (= אישו) at the Beginning of Genesis
The snake knew Eve was not a “disembodied intellect” and sadly Hashem had forgotten to create a female serpent for the lusting reptile. Adam also knew the truth about Eve when he saw her. Only the wise fail to understand the nature of Eve as they burden their anaemic brains with images of the unknow...

Re: Finding Jesus (= אישו) at the Beginning of Genesis
Christians are accused by the religious and the sceptics of misinterpreting the Hebrew Bible. Poor Christians they can never get anything right! Why Judaism should complain about any Christian interpretation of the bible is a mystery to me. The sceptics come in all forms and sizes. Genesis 1:26 26. ...

Did you feel the need to explain a trivial typo? You must be weakening. Has someone cut your hair recently?

Re: Markus Vinzent on 'Marcion the Jew'
'rediscovery' of Jesus the Jew coincided with 'guilt' ... over the Holocaust. This book was published in London in 1912 second edition (first edition in 1905, I think). The author says that Jesus was a Jew that argued with men of his own race , who apparently were expecting someone to rescue them f...
