Re: Loaves and Fishes

Collating the text on the loaves and fishes from all four gospels there are about 2000 words, nearly 100 verses. The feeding of the multitude is the most prominent miracle in the Bible, appearing six times compared to three for the resurrection, but it is deeply mysterious. It is literally impossib...

Re: Jesus SportsGospel Line in the Sands-Odds that GMark pos

That being said, getting this party of God started, very generally, the External evidence favors GMark pre-70 while the Internal evidence favors GMark post-70. I hereby set the initial conclusion that GMark was substantially intially written...70 = How do you know that the thing is internal evidenc...

Re: Jesus SportsGospel Line in the Sands-Odds that GMark pos

The purpose of this Thread is to establish the odds that GMark (the Gospel work currently in Christian Bibles, as distinguished from the anonymous author here referred to as "Mark") was substantially written post 70. Near zero. http://www.carotta.de/subseite/texte/esumma/351-357.html

Re: A smoking gun against the JC historicists?

More like Caesar… http://www.carotta.de/subseite/texte/jwc_e/crux.html#note126 Stavros, which as noted above originally meant 'stake', 'slat' or 'palisade', was never associated with the cross in classic times, and even when in the course of the Christianization it took on the meaning 'cross' in the...

Re: Attributes and Identification of John

My question to you is, "How much goes beyond JC?" Look at Acts 6. You find a list of Stalwarts and at the end of that list is "Nicholas, Hero of Antioch". Who was "Hero of Antioch"? That would be one "Octavian", dba "Augustus Caesar". Agree? I'm not...

Re: Attributes and Identification of John

Transvaluation of the Symbolism masks recognition of identities in the NT. Most all of us agree that something in the NT, especially in Mark, was rewritten, but what? The Caesar bio is the substrate. Jewish layers were added on top of the Caesar bio. To what end? Proximization to the Levant in dieg...

Re: Loaves and Fishes

That's a 514 page book you link to. Can you give me the key points in English that explain how we decide? Thanks Some mistranslated phrases are recurrent throughout Mark and appear in mutually corresponding episodes. That shows the Caesar bio is a substrate. When Caesar is in Rome, Jesus is in the ...

There are more details about Caesar than about tankman, and the equivalent of CNN is Asinius Pollio.
