Re: Hagarism

Those sources don't show Mohammed existed. I remember Ohlig discussing that in German: http://www.inarah.de/cms/die-christliche-literatur-unter-arabischer-herrschaft-im-7-und-8-jahrhundert.html http://www.inarah.de/cms/en/hinweise-auf-eine-neue-religion-in-der-christlichen-literatur-unter-islamische...

I know this is only tangentially related, but that author also postulated the gospel of Mark was written in Latin:

There were Arabs in that area, so I fail to see a contradiction. I mean, what concrete examples of literature do you have in mind?

Re: Hagarism

Could you please explain what you mean by "the rejection of the prophets" and how it's Samaritan? Sure the Arabs were literate, but that does not necessarily mean they used their literacy for literature proper. For example, this article gives to me the opposite impression, that they only u...

Re: Hagarism

I would agree with you that the people who battled the Franconians weren't Mohammedans proper, because that's also what Johannes Thomas says here in German about the chronicles about the battle of Tours: http://www.inarah.de/cms/fruehe-spanische-zeugnisse-zum-islam-2-teil.html#sdfootnote148anc http:...

Re: Hagarism

I doubt that Hagarism existed. I think the better explanation is that the Ummayads were Christians, because that's what the numismatic evidence discussed by Volker Popp, Karl Heinz Ohlig and other Inarah Institute (inarah.de) members shows. They also show there was no Mohammedanism in the Iberian Pe...

This is a good point: what are Koran commentaries and Muslim clerics for? http://www.arabistjansen.nl/Arabist/What_is_Sharia.html What is Sharia, where does it come from, and why does it matter so much? Mohammed beheads

This is straight from the Mohammed legend. Mohammed has people beheaded. http://www.faithfreedom.org/Articles/sira/18.htm 18- Banu Qurayza The apostle of Allah imprisoned the Qurayza in Medina while trenches were dug in the market‑place. Then he sent for the men and had their heads struck off so tha...
