Go on, show me verbatim agreement between Mark and Paul. Two words in a row would be really thrilling Capture d’écran 2023-02-18 à 14.07.48.png The expression " gospel of christ " appears only in Paul and Mark 1. It does not appear anywhere else in the new testament. ---------------------...

Yes, and because you fail to actually demonstrate any of it, you stick to "thinking". Go on, show me verbatim agreement between Mark and Paul. Two words in a row would be really thrilling Ooh... You obviously haven't read any books on the subject, have you? I invite you to do so. 32849784...

Re: My presentation on Hist. Valley re Mark and Paul
There are so many bullshit stories invented by people who fail to prove their theory right, and then they invent "a third independent source" when the direction of dependence doesn't suit them. That’s exactly what i think about the priority of the gospel of Marcion and/or Thomas  We...

About 2 Corinthians and Mark : 2 Corinthians 4 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers , so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ , who is the image of God. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a] made his light shine in ...

Re: 2 Thess the Man of Lawlessness?
Interesting. Could this be an argument in favor of the authenticity of the epistle ? If this is indeed an allusion to Caligula, then 2 Thessalonians should be dated between 39 and 41 before Caligula's death. In any case, verse 8, an allusion to isaiah 11:4, seems to me to be quite in line with the m...

Re: Luke in dialogue with John as a reason for greater detail than Matthew/Mark? Potential Synoptic solution?
Good post.
I also tend to think that Luke comes after John. Which would make sense if Luke is a late text (as demonstrated by Richard Pervo) and would be consistent with Luke 1:1.
There's also a great and underrated study on the primacy of John over Luke by Barbara Shellard.

Re : "La correspondance de Pline et les Actes des Apôtres : une relation intertextuelle ?"
I think that Pliny's letter is a forgery based on the false testimony of Tertullian. While I'd agree with that I'd take it a bridge further: Tertullian is also a forgery based on the false testimony of Eusebius and/or the Post Nicene "Fathers" and/or the church industry of the middle ages...

Re: Judas' betrayal in the gospel of Marcion
Yes you're right. I just looked at Tertullian and nothing is said about the disciples fleeing. So this is another hypothetical element of Marcion. I wanted to highlight Mark's priority over Marcion by using the sale of Jesus for money by Judas and the flight of the naked man echoing a prophecy but s...
